QUESTIONS
Roof Restoration FAQs
Most tired tile roofs only need restoring. If the tiles are sound and the timber battens underneath are in good shape, a restoration fixes the leaks and makes the roof look close to new for far less than a replacement. Replacement is usually only needed when tiles are breaking down across the whole roof or the structure underneath has failed. We'll inspect it and tell you honestly which one you need.
A full inspection, then a high-pressure clean to remove moss, lichen and grime. Cracked or broken tiles are replaced, the ridge caps are re-bedded and repointed, and the whole roof is sealed with a Dulux-accredited protective coating in your chosen colour. We'll walk you through each step before we start.
It depends on the size and pitch of the roof, whether it's single or double storey, the tile type and how much repair work it needs, which is why we inspect it first. You'll get a clear written quote, free and with no obligation, before any work begins.
Call us on 0404 576 536 and tell us what's happening. We prioritise active leaks and storm damage, and we're open 7 days, including weekend mornings. In the meantime, put a bucket under the drip and move anything valuable out of the way.
If your gutters are overflowing but otherwise sound, a clean of the gutters and downpipes is usually enough. If they're rusted through, leaking at the joins or sagging away from the fascia, replacement is the better long-term fix. We'll check them while we're up there and tell you which one makes sense.
Yes. Plenty of customers have the roof restored and the gutters, exterior paint, deck or driveway done in the same project, so the whole house looks finished. We'll quote each part separately so you can choose what to go ahead with.
[CONFIRM: Victorian registration and roof plumbing licence numbers, public liability insurance, and exact warranty terms.] The warranty is written into your paperwork, and it's in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
